I am a Professor of Economics at the Lam Family College of Business, San Francisco State University. I earned my Ph.D. in economics from the University of Minnesota, class of 2005.

My research topics include macroeconomics, the economics of growth, household and family economics, economic inequality. My current work examines the racial differences in access to mortgage lending.
